YouTube on the smart board

each other while dancing. Keep equipment out of the way when
dancing

Modifications /Adaptations:
Students that struggle with the choreography do not need to use
any extra equipment for props they can focus on just the dance
moves. Students that will struggle making a 1 minute routine can
make a 30 second routine. A 1 minute routine is 17 eight counts
while a 30 second routine is 9 eight counts.

Selecting music and

props

I will go on YouTube and we will review the kerboom kidz

dance videos and discuss the types of moves that I will expect
to see in their routines. The moves in the video do not limit
what they can d. I will then use the app on the smart board to
create the teams. It will be displayed on the smart board for all
to see how teams were created fairly.
I will place signs 1 through 4 around the gym. Evenly spaced
out the teams will be designed a number area for their practice
space. Each group area will have various different equipment
laid out. The students will be able to play around and come up
with some ideas if they wan to use the equipment to make the
routine harder. They can use what ever they want and will put
away what they do not want to use. Each station will have an
iPad as well where they will have access to YouTube and
soundcloud app to pick their music and refer back to the dance
videos.

numbered areas. I will give team number 1 &3 the opportunity
to play their music first while choreographing for the first 15
minutes and then we will switch for teams 2 & 4. This will
help keep the music level and confusion to a minimum
Students will work on their routine

Groups 1 &2 will hand in ipads first while groups 3 &4 put
away equipment. Switch and sit in center circle when done
