Formative Assessment

Students will complete a table for each section of the sections.

Student Resources
Accommodations

Students will answer the research questions through an open

discussion of their findings with the class.
Attached worksheets, cell phones, internet access, writing utensils
Because there are so many beers from America and due to time
constraints, the students will only have to write 5 American authors
for that section.
From the rest of the discovered authors, the students will then
choose of the authors and choose 2 of their works.

Assessment

If anyones phone is not working, I will allow them to use my cell

phone to research the authors. If we are without internet access, I
will use the students background knowledge and ask them to
remember what works of literature they have previously read to
assist their research. This may also limit the number of questions
they can answer, but the lesson will still have the same effect.
Students will discuss their findings with the class by answering the
questions on the discussion sheet (attached).
