Extreme left English 4 rails to the target area.
Drill 005
This shot can be played with extreme left English

going 4 rails to the target area for position on
the 9 or you can bank the 8 cross-corner and
bring the cue ball to the other side of the 9 ball
or cut the 8 down the rail sending the cue ball 2
rails to the target area for position on the 9 ball. I
recommend trying all 3 shots. This is a very
common situation in 9 ball and good practice for
recovering from poor position.
