Assessment
Traditional Assessment: Students will take modeled notes with the teacher on the various
literary terms.
Alternative Assessment: Students will complete packet with photo identifications of
literary terms as well as a crossword and a musical lyric section.

2. What changes, omissions, or additions to the lesson would you make if you were to
teach again? I would add the additional review lesson to the literary devices day and would have
some kind of group activity for the students to practice literary devices collaboratively.
3. What do you envision for the next lesson? A review of terms and another application of terms
before moving on to sonnets.
