Observation of Child
From what I have seen in Emma Rose I believe she is suited to
Vygotskys sociocultural view of cognitive development. She regularly
pretends to be a boss or a teacher when she plays games and dislikes being
in a secondary position because that is what she sees as the best. While
bossy with her friends she is extremely shy of new people that she meets,
but warms up to them after an hour or two using conversations she has
heard from her mother or other adults.
Emma regularly eats a few meals a day, but is a bit wasteful because
she wants to stay thin even though she and her family have a fast
metabolism. She is a little prankster due to her families influence, but she
knows when a joke goes too far. Emma shows no emotional stress about her
family being split up mostly due to her family splitting up when she was
still a baby, however she does hate loud noises, avoids certain things, and
does not like conflict with others.

Summary
Emma Rose is a beautiful child who has always kept her promises,
has wonderful friends, and a loving family. She has no problems that seem
to be affecting her school or social life. Emma always does things safely
and cautiously, never in a quick and sloppy manner. She can be bossy at
times, but she does keep other peoples opinions close to her. She is
advanced in some ways as a child of her age, but I wouldnt call her a
genius in any one field. Emma likes to converse with adults on their
level, but likes playing with children of her age just as much. Emma Rose
