Subject: Immigration
Dear, Professor Salome:
I am writing this to whoever it may concern about the issue revolving immigration here in
the borderland, and how it has become more corrupt and harm than good for immigrants with
regard to their future here in the United States. Immigrants passing into the U.S through the
south west have been subject gated and have not been given fair treatment given their current
status which should be resolved and reformed as soon as possible. Throughout the memo
new opportunities that can aid the immigration process will be discussed along with different
circumstances that could allow immigrants easier access but with certain restrictions.
In the brochure there will be listed new programs that will make the immigration a lot
quicker and more efficient meaning that the U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services
should hire more employees in areas that are that have highly populated incoming
immigrants. This allows immigrants and the government to avoid any conflict and ensure
that every immigrant be dealt with rather than the usual 4 month waiting list. I believe it also
depends on the cities that are most affected by immigration, therefore a voting poll should
influence the rules and how immigration is being dealt with since theyre the first ones
affected and encounter the incoming immigrants. This system could be beneficial to the
immigrants coming in after all being neighboring countries has similarities with culture and
ethnicity.
As these new ideas and decisions would be put into effect it could cause tension with those
who feel immigrants do not deserve entry into the U.S and to those citizens that feel they
deserve the right to better themselves and be allowed entry into the U.S. Nonetheless those
interested in my new plans are the ones who may have family across the border and the
activists that share the same beliefs in regard to this situation evidently making a positive
change rather than taking a wrong turn. The message being presented fits perfectly for the
reason that it pinpoints the major situation with immigration but does not provide a free
ticket into the country, its fair and humane.
Through voting polls and more efficient ways to hire employees with higher morals and a
good work ethic is sure enough to improve the lives of immigrants and create a good
atmosphere here in the borderland. Its in my belief through these methods there can be a

sense of assurance for the citizens in the southwest but most importantly for those coming
into the United States.
