Completed Portfolio: Due Monday 12/21 (A day) & Tuesday 12/22 (B Day)

No Late Portfolios! Since there have been two extensions on this, I will not accept late work on
this. The original due date was 12/14-so no late portfolios! All portfolios must be turned in before
break.

1. Setting Chart -(25 points)

Completed. Include quotations of significant settings for each chapter
and symbol. How does the setting create the mood for each chapter
and what was Knowles trying to do with each setting?

2. A Separate Peace Inference Chart with Characters, Motifs, Verbal

Irony, and Oxymoron examples, etc. (25 points)

3. Found Poem (25 points) typed with background (Google/Bing

image of illustrated). 20 lines at least to poem and all lines come from
text.
4. PPE for each chapter (25 points): include all 13 and then pick one
chosen one to revise, edit, and type up. Place this one in front of
your other 13.
5. Place all in the above order in your manila folder I gave you. You may
decorate your folder for flare. I would recommend it
Extra Credit:
For up to 25 points extra credit- Make a playlist for this novel. One song per chapter. The
songs should speak to the plot, setting, or conflict within each chapter. You may include
more songs that relate to songs overall theme, but you should have at least 13 for each
chapter. You must have cd of 13 songs to turn in within your portfolio. The cover of your
cd must be decorated and include pictures, images, words, etc. that relate to the novel.
Also include an Analysis/Explanation of Your Songs/CD. Why did you pick each
particular song? What was the reason behind your choices? Without Analysis of
Songs/CD included, you will not receive extra credit.
