Connla Documentary Script

This is Connla; a new and exciting folk group from Northern Ireland,
their band consist of people from Derry and Armagh.
Their sensitive and innovative arrangements of traditional and
modern folk songs have earned them praise across the community.
The band consist of Ciara McCafferty, the vocalist, Ciaran Carlin on
the whistles, Paul Starrett on the guitar, emer mallon on the harp
and her brother conor on the pipes.
The young and talented musicians have had a passion for music
since childhood; they have had expierence playing in bands in the
past and performed in various locations across the world before
deciding to try their luck with Connla.
4 of the band members originally met up in the university of Ulster
while doing a degree in music, it was here that friendships were
made.
Connla have released their 4 track debut EP which is now available
to download.
Connla have received positive reviews for their music, and have a
lot of potential to become even better musicians in the future.
