Culegerea de fa reunete solfegiile date la concursurile de admitere la Academiile de


Muzic din Bucureti, Iai i Cluj din anii 1992-1996. Aceste solfegii nu sunt simple exerciii
de intonaie i ritm. Unele au graia i elegana unor "cntece fr cuvinte", solfegiul nr. 23 n
do bemol major, pagina 116, altele pornesc de la un citat pe care-l continu i dezvolt, n
datele i limitele sistemului tonal-funcional, solfegiile nr. 6 i nr. 14, paginile 72 i 80, altele
reprezint fragmente extrase din creaia muzical, de exemplu solfegiile Academiei de
Muzic din Cluj i, n fine, altele sunt miniaturi vocale, compuse cu rafinament, cum sunt
cele cuprinse n Anex.
Solfegiile sunt axate pe sistemul tonal-funcional si pe metro-ritmica divizionar. Ele
nchid un ciclu, care se bazeaz pe deprinderile formate n gimnaziu i liceele de muzic,
ciclu care se va redeschide, pe un palier superior, n academiile de muzic.
Din colecia de fa solfegiile cele mai dificile sunt cele date la secia Compoziie
Muzicologie din Academia de Muzic Bucureti. Pn in anul 1992, la aceast secie,
solfegiile erau notate, pe lng cheile de sol i fa, n toate cheile de do. Dup anul 1992 s-a
renunat la aceast manier de notaie, urmnd ca studiul cheilor de do s se efectueze in
nvmntul superior muzical.
nsemntatea solfegiului ntr-un program de instruire muzical nu mai trebuie
demonstrat. Solfegiul este un ajutor preios i informarea auzului muzical care n genere se
educ prin dicteu muzical. Reinerea precis n memorie a nlimii absolute a sunetelor sunetele izolate de context fiind exersate i nvate cu denumirea lor - constituie reperele n
proiecia mental a textului, care urmeaz a fi cntat.
Aa cum spuneam, solfegiile sunt tonale, astfel melodia lor este legat, cu fire
invizibile, de tonica tonalitii. Incursiunile n alte tonaliti, modulaiile, trebuie atent
analizate, contientizate, noua tonalitate se afirm prin acordul, complet sau incomplet, al
dominantei i al tonicii. Deseori o linie cromatic i ntrerupe cursul firesc printr-un salt la
octava superioar sau inferioar. ntr-o prim faz, acest desen melodic se intoneaz cu
sunetele dispuse ntr-o singur octav i, abia ulterior, ele se cnt n octave diferite.
Trebuie exersate intervalele, ele fiind "pietrele de construcie" ale discursului muzical
i, desigur, acordurile fiecrei trepte n parte - inclusiv treptele alterate, cum este treapta a

doua cobort, de acum celebra sext napolitan - tonalitatea neputnd fi imaginat n afara
armoniei.
n pasajele dificile se recomand studiul separat al melodiei, detaat de ritm, studiul
ritmului, singur, i abia pe urm executarea lor mpreun. Un interval dificil nu se gndete i
intoneaz numai n funcie de sunetul proxim, ci n funcie de - ca s m exprim ca Jacques
Chailley - "le son fort" care extrage "les sons faibles" spre exemplu n fa minor, n pasajul
do#2, re#1, mi#1 fa#1 unde septima mic descendent do diez - re diez se intoneaz mai
simplu i mai sigur, dac avem n minte pe fa diez, deci pe re diez i apoi pe mi diez cntate
n funcie i legate de fa diez.
In fine, exerciiile de solfegiere se fac zilnic, aa cum zilnic se studiaz la instrument.
Solfegiile de fa ofer posibilitatea elevilor i absolvenilor de licee muzicale s
aprecieze singuri nivelul exigenelor cursului de admitere n nvmntul muzical superior.
Cartea de fa se prezint ntr-o excelent form editorial de natur s atrag un numr ct
mai mare de "cititori" de texte muzicale.
