how to title, record label
information, and mat an art piece.
TSW know this once he/she
finishes the label information and
mats the piece.

Do Now: Take out 3 pieces of art you want to
consider selling in Light up the Night. The rest
of your art pieces you should take home.

Give students ideas on how to title
their artworks.

information and how to mat art
pieces.

choose one piece to put in show

Learning Target- TSW learn how to
choose a theme to express in a
series of 2-4 art pieces. TSW know
this after he/she chooses a theme.

WEDNESDAY DEC 9
TargetTSW learn how to use
visual information to display a
theme through the use of
symbolism, colors, subject matter,
etc. TSW know this when his/her
sketch reflects his/her theme
through one of these visual
methods.

THURSDAY DEC 10
Learning Target- TSW learn how to
create a balanced series of art
pieces. TSW know this when the
pieces can be flipped in every
direction and still appear
balanced.
FRIDAY DEC 11
TargetTSW learn how to use
sufficient contrast in an art piece.
TSW know this once his/her pieces
utilize sufficient contrast.

write up label information and then
give to me
