which means a race course
The most common definition - a course
of study
Can be defined broadly----as dealing with
the experiences of the learner

above, a curriculum consists of:
a) A plan / a document
b) A set of goals and objectives
c) Content / learning experience

Curriculum and Instruction

The word curriculum is often associated
with instruction, where :
Curriculum - the plan or document.
Instruction - the method of presenting or
implementing the curriculum content or
plan.
According to Saylor (1981) instruction is
the actual engagements of learners with
planned learning of opportunities.

For the purpose of instruction, curriculum can be further sub-divided as follows :
