This course is designed to create an awareness regarding the need and importance of HRM
and related issues.
To introduce students to the function of staffing, developing, and retaining human resources.
The broad outline of the course includes the following six modules:

1. More of Case studies are included in the coursework. As such it is required that the students
come prepared with the cases as instructed in the class.
2. The submission dates (sessions) of the assignment / case study has been put in the session plan.
All submissions must be made on time. Late submissions will not be permitted.
3. Case Presentations, as mentioned is a series running throughout the course and students in
groups would be presenting the allotted topics/ cases and its evaluation (5 marks ) would be
considered for post mid term..
4. Students are to come prepared with the topics covered during the previous session.
5. Three class tests would be conducted during the term. The first test marks would be taken for
the calculation of the pre-midterm internals. Post mid term would have two tests. The average of
these two tests would be taken for the calculation of post mid term internals.
