The institution was founded by FANA Superior Chief William Winds of Thunder Guy, Sagamore of the Pokanoket
Nation, and FANA National Director Neesu Wushuwunoag, Pomham Sachem of the Mashapaug Nahaganset Tribe, and
through development concert with Principal Chief Ron Holloway of the Sand Hill Lenape Nation. Sagamore Winds of
Thunder, Sachem Neesu Wushuwunoag and Chief Ron Holloway are all descendants of natural inhabitants of Turtle
Island (America), and all employ methods of spiritualism, philosophy and law for providing remedy and understanding
concerning the true history and heritage of the aboriginal inhabitants of the territories commonly referred to as North
America.
FANA began as a confederation of aboriginal Tribes and Nations from the New England territories that were seeking to
address ongoing issues of violations of their inherent aboriginal rights and privileges by foreign entities while on their
own sovereign and ancestral lands. As the confederation grew in strength and numbers and began to make alliances with
other Tribes and Nations outside of the New England territories, the Confederation recognized the need to take their
efforts to a grander scale, by extending the scope of their efforts to include issues faced by aboriginal Tribes and Nations
throughout the Americas.
FANA assists the efforts of its member Tribes and Nations in bringing to light more than 600 years of international and
national archived history to reveal hidden truths about the true diverse cultures and heritage of Americas aboriginal
populations. With the historical knowledge of laws and treaties, FANA provides private confidential support and
assistance for member Tribes and Nations, which include, but are not limited to, sharing of information, classes, and
instruction of law and indigenous judicial processes where members gain greater insight pertaining to their privileges,
immunities and rights under International and American Indian Law. FANA also assists member Tribes and Nations
in researching and filing claims for rights violations, land rights, rights to monies owed from treaties, corporate identity
theft, housing fraud and international human rights violations, which also include violations against women and
children, genocide of the American Negro and many other aboriginal related issues.
