Research Journal Entry #1:

What does it mean to conduct research? Conducting research means to

collect data, either from a reliable source to use in a research paper or
conducting your own observation or experiment to acquire information
you can use.
What search strategies did you use to find your analysis assessment? I
used academic search complete to find scholarly articles that I can use
in my research paper. I also used Google scholar to find more articles
that I could access in the UTEP database. To narrow down my search I
used the large search box in academic search complete to narrow
down the articles that I would be given. When using Google scholar, I
programed Google to give me article that I could access in the UTEP
database.
