This surfaces has receives least radiation hence it is best for having maximum openings for daylight
as well as for ventilation whenever required.
Diffused glare-free north light thus can be utilized to its fullest by providing north facing skylights also.

CLIMATE ZONE- HOT AND ARID

Intense radiations on SE in morning hours and SW in the evening hours.


Full Shading required. Exposed wall area to be kept to minimum through orientation or form.
The surfaces can be light in color to reflect excess heat. Only small and deep windows should be provided.

N-E and N-W can be the most comfortable spaces for habitation ( reading spaces and office
spaces) as the a,ount of radiation received is low and good quality of natural light can be achieved
without glare.
The sun altitude will be low, however only minimum shading is required due to low radiation levels.
