cleanedup,butwhoseformulaswerewrittenbysomeonenolongerwiththecompany.
Ihavefoundanerrorinacalculation.Iamattachingtothisablankcopyofthespreadsheettoshowtheproblem.
1.Eachsalespersonisgivingasalesgoal.(C12)
2.Theyarepaidaflatbonusdependingontheirachievementtothatgoal(L16)Thatlookupworksfine.
3.Wealsokeeptrackofthecashreceiptsfromtheiraccountseachmonthandtheyarepaidapercentageof
cashreceiptsaspartoftheirbonus,HOWEVER,thepercentagepaidisbasedon#2,theirachievement
percentagetogoal.
4.SO,whenIkeytheirsalesintoC12anditcalculateswhatpercentageofgoaltheyreachedinH16itSHOULD
thendropthecashreceiptsnumberinC13downintothetable(A)titled"IncentivePayment"(bottomleft)inthe
properspotbasedonpercentagetogoalinthetablejustabovewhereitreads"BasedonSales".
5.However,asyoucanseebythisexamplespreadsheet,thispersonhadagoalof$21,000theysold$21,000so
thatis100%ofgoal.Theyhad$18,000incashreceipts.Therefore,that$18,000shoulddropintothetablebelow
