Job Title

Order Taker

Purpose of job

To handle all incoming room service food & beverage orders in a


timely and efficient manner.

Main task

To execute all mise-en-place duties and responsibilities as directed on time,


according to the predetermined standards.

To handle all food & beverage orders and requests as per the predetermined
standards and sequence.

To assist in organizing and arranging VIP guest amenities as directed.

To monitor and control the delivery and clearance procedures.

To have thorough knowledge of the menu, drinks list and wine list and to be able
to respond to guest inquiries and to up-sell appropriate food & beverage items.

To carry out cashiering functions and to balance cash float at the end of each shift.

Assist in the administration of the department by completing the necessary forms


and documents in a timely and accurate manner as directed.

Responsible of cleanliness in the work area.

Handles customer complaints whenever possible, or reports them to supervisors.
