Connla music video/documentary Evaluation

During the production I came across several different problems as

the director. The position of director has been a great experience for
me and will help me the next time I am in charge of a production.
The biggest thing required from a production team is teamwork, my
crew were great and they were very helpful in giving me some
ideas, a great lesson that I learned was that even though the
director should have creative control of the project, the crew can
give you great feedback and ideas that can be superior to the
directors.
I learned from editing my own music video just how difficult it can
be to make a music video as the footage has to match the music.
The editing of documentary was also a great as it was great
experience interviewing people, I had to edit the interview footage
along with cutaways of stills and live performance synched with the
music, I also had to write a script to match the documentary that I
edited.
Planning was a big issue, especially for the reshoots we had to do at
the external location, because we were filming in December the
weather wasnt the best, there was 2 days we had to call off
because of the rain, it was very frustrating because we had to find a
exact date were the actress Stacy Fitzpatrick and the crew were free
to go out, as well as a day were the filming equipment would not be
booked.
Overall I fought that the production was good, besides the planning
issues everything else was a great experience.
