RE: Marketing and Business Development Assistant Precor

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to you as I want to apply for the Marketing and Business
Development role, as it was advertised on LinkedIn. I am currently in my last
year studying Marketing to gain a Bsc (Hons) degree.
The job advertisement states that the selection criteria you are looking for is an
individual that is creative, innovative and a fast learner. Furthermore this
individual has to be able to work with other people to develop results and meet
customer expectations. By studying for my degree and constantly working with
other people throughout my work life, this has enabled me to develop these skills
and make them my strengths.
My degree has allowed me to gain work-related experience while studying
showing that at only 20 years old, I was able to participate and succeed in a
marketing and business development campaign. I and three other group
members had to help a restaurant chain called Basmati improve their marketing
as a business, which would further improve the businesss development across
the south coast of England. As a team we had to conduct market analysis and
research, generate reports and then present our ideas to the management of the
business. To achieve this we had to work as a team and ensure each team
members strength was being utilised, and that our presentation of our ideas
were to a professional and quality standard. Furthermore as a team we delegated
tasks to each other that had a date it needed to be completed by, which taught
me the importance to manage and organise my time.
During my studies I have found it difficult to gain work experience within the
marketing sector. However, I have gained experience within the credit card
sector with a company called TSYS which required handling confidential
information while being expected to perform efficiently within a fast-working
environment. This has improved my ability to learn quickly as I was had to

memorise specific page codes to gain the correct information the customer
needed, in addition I can comfortably work on my own and be relied on while
working under pressure.
As Amer Sports is a company that requires communication between colleagues
and innovative thinking to succeed, I would thrive for the opportunity to work
