Principals Letter
Welcome to the second semester of the school year. Students
worked diligently the first semester to make advancements in
their classrooms. There were so many exciting learning
experiences for students to take part in the first semester, and
these opportunities will only continue to build as the year
progresses.
All students are involved with simulated work place
experiences. They were involved with student leadership
opportunities, project based learning, problem solving, real
world learning experiences, and making certain their work
place is earning a profit. Students continue to work on
developing their portfolio and develop their capstone project.
Additionally, students are preparing for the upcoming state and
national SKILLS USA competition. We hope to have many
winners to represent Ben Franklin Career Center.
Seniors as you near graduation, be reminded of important
tasks you should consider completing as you prepare for your
next steps in school. First, complete the FASA for financial aid
consideration see your counselor for more information.
Second, register for the ACT or SAT test. Third, see your
counselor to make certain you have earned all credits for
graduation.
We hope everyone has an excellent second semester.
