Lesson Objectives:
EE8.EE.1-4 Compose and decompose numbers to three digits. (Level 1, Recognize
the specific value a number represents)
Statement of Procedure:
Student will be shown number flashcards from 1-10 and be asked to show what he
is seeing. We will discuss numbers, how to recognize those numbers he struggles
with and repetitively use the cards. Student will be asked to represent the number
with small objects. Student will use Ipad game to work with numbers when Im
working with other student.
Materials:
Student flashcards, small objects

Lesson Objectives:
EERL.9-10.2 Determine the central idea of the text and select details that relate to
it; recount the text
EERI.9-10.2 Determine the central idea of the text and select details to support it.
EEL.9-10.4c Consult reference materials (dictionaries, online vocab supports) to
clarify the meaning of unfamiliar words encountered when reading.
Statement of Procedure:
Hand out Old Yeller book and worksheet. Introduce student to a concept in book by
showing short video clip and having him read and respond to questions on
worksheet. We will discuss. Go over vocabulary instructions with student. We will
discuss when finished. Student will then begin reading Chapter 1.

Old Yeller book, worksheet, computer
