Is Living with a purpose?

Which has more value?

The soul, the life lived or the words spoken?
The soul is for the person alone and of utmost importance.
The life lived is of the present adding happiness or misery,
The words spoken are the ones that remain for eternity echoing for generations,
Making a lasting impression to be remembered and cherished,
Adding knowledge to the world and to be followed by those,
On a life lived with purpose free from any taint and words truly spoken.
Where is sorrow and happiness ? to be felt al along?
Sorrow is on the pains endured caused by someone living,
Happiness is caused by ones pleasing action while living,
Both rooted on ones expectations dependent it may be.
Hunger, pain and pleasure arising from within with no control
Seem to be inborn, still seeking outside intervention to fulfill.
Family and society playing a great role in ones well being
Who really is accountable?, is never questioned.
Only Gods we worship seem to have some say felt in our minds,
To make us live with hope and to despair as the mind wavers.
Time seems to pass as one feels to make it feel long and short
Childhood, adolescence, youth, middle age and old age all
Do not wait carrying the period of time measured by those living.
Suddenly it dawns what for all these a natural process,
Just as a tree risen from a sapling, bears fruit and withers away
With time waiting for none elusive and still talked about a great deal.
Mankind talks about history from immemorial though thinking
Internally that man is immortal and the world belongs to him
An arrogance hard to describe as its roots are deep
From the very source of life that had evolved, though
hard to conceive lending helplessness in its pursuit.
I am still seeking with a never ending hope made beautiful
With the thought and understanding of an Unseen power
Hard to describe elusive in Its ways beyond human comprehension .
Who will come to my rescue ? a question being asked from ages,
Hoping my prayers to be answered to fulfill this utter longing.
