The Public/Private Questionnaire

by Nina Power
Are you a public kind of person or more of a homebody? Are you the life of the protest or do you often find yourself sitting, shivering alone in the
coldest room of your house? Studies show that atomisation, alienation and a paranoid individualisation frequently lead to political pessimism, an
inability to organise with others and a frequent desire to run home avoiding trouble at all costs.
The state is currently undertaking a survey into the psychic life of its citizens, in order to determine how much repression will be needed in the coming
months and years. We already have your details on file and have access to your internet history so please answer anonymously, as this will save us
time. Be honest: your countrys future depends on it. Plus we need to budget for the cost of water cannon, shields, batons, vans, handcuffs, hi-vis
jackets, trials, cells and hired goons.
