DUNTER
I was born and grew up in the Montreal region, where I
still live today. I once co-founded a dungeon in Montreal
and have been a dungeon-master at many others over the
years. In more recent years, I have taken on the role as
the workshop coordinator for the Montreal Fetish
Weekend, I am an instructor and suspension expert there
and at the Kinky Festival in Montreal, among other
events.
I was always surrounded by ropes and perversion during
a long military career where I learned the technical side
of rigging and have passed the last 20 years learning the more pleasurable
side of rigging. Ropes were one of my first toys when I entered the BDSM
world as they were inexpensive and easy to use, but have stayed with me to
this day. They are now are my specialty and what I feel most passionately
about.

LANI DV8 (DE VIATE)
The adventure began in 2006 on one of my first visits to
Hellfire, Sydney. Here I met a man called Mark (who Id
heard very good things about); including that he loved to
tie people up. I smiled at him and asked: Excuse me? If
youre not busy would you like to tie me? His answer
was: Hell yeah! I soon discovered the magic beneath
the strands and Mark has been tying me ever since.
Together we have perfected our own unique style of
Japanese inspired rope bondage. I fast became known
for my signature rapid transitions and acrobatic
manoeuvres in rope suspension, and earned the local nickname of flygirl,
which stuck - and has followed me all over the world. We both get so much
satisfaction out of inspiring other like-minded people and friends along the
way through our performances and workshops - whilst never forgetting that
rope is our pleasure.

MARK DV8 (DE VIATE)
Mark is renowned for teaching and performing advanced
Japanese rope bondage. His performance style combines
his intense sensuality, undeniable dominance and innate
skill. Each performance is a creation of dynamic
Japanese rope bondage and SM imagery.
In 2006 Mark travelled to Japan to tie with his friend
Osada Steve. This friendship with Steve has had a strong
influence on his bondage style, which follows in the
Akechi Denki lineage. Mark has always believed in the
importance of spending time with people of interest for
inspiration and has tied many times with his friend Hajime Kinoko, after
accepting an invitation to perform at the inaugural Toubaku in 2011. Most
recently Mark and Nawashi Kanna have shared quality time together
exploring rope forms, to further embed the Akechi Denki traditions in Marks

rope style. Mark has also spent time tying with Yukimura Haruki and both
have similar beliefs regarding erotic rope energy.

GIOTTO
Giotto has been in the public scene for 6 years and has
played at home for more than 14. 6 years ago he found a
passion for rope and set out to master it. He has an
obsession with making the finest quality bondage rope in
the world. His mottoes in rope are: Rope Bondage is
Easy and Fun and The basics of rope bondage are not
edge play. Some would consider Giottos sadism
extreme, but really it is just the adult version of pulling
the hair of a girl he likes on the playground to get her
attention.

SAKI KAMIJOO
I have had an interest in SM for over 20 years, but it was
back in 1996 that I opened the door and stepped into my
first SM club. I then started mixing Shibari into the gigs
that I would do with my band, Kalra, using ties that I
remembered seeing in SM clubs in Tokyo and Osaka. As
the Shibari accompanied the music, I realized that the
pacing of my Shibari needed to match the music, and so
modified the ties, streamlining them and making them
more efficient. In 2003 I began to run an SM Bar in
Juso, Osaka; the daily shows gave me a chance to
practice my shibari repeatedly, for the subsequent 7 years. As well as
performing in shows throughout Japan, I have also performed overseas. On
most nights when youll find me at the Vampire Squid, a dive bar that I own
just under the train tracks in Kobe, Japan.

placing of ropes and knots on the upper part of the body.

LONDON A CHEST-LOADING TAKATE-KOTE PART I
(TOPOLOGIST)
Takate Kotes (box ties) have many benefits, but one very significant
drawback, especially for suspension: the high risk of injury where the rope
passes near vulnerable nerves in the arms. This class presents a modified
tie that maintains the look, feel, and functionality of the Takate Kote,
but redirects most of the load during suspensions onto the torso, away

Hojojutsu is one of the martial art forms, from which the erotic art of tying
has its roots. It is the antithesis to all that is gentle, nice, and sweet about
rope. This hands-on class will focus on the application and implication of
rope in this style. An understanding (and shameless exploitation) of body
mechanics is at the root of this class. What is taught here breaks many of
the strictures about safe, kind, and comfortable rope, so it is very much
edge-play.

fiber is preferred, but paracord works) and loose clothing in which you can

It is easy to get lost in the *how* we do something without understanding
the why. We can use leverage, weight, materials, center of gravity and lots
of other science things to alter the way our bondage works and get the most
out of our rope. Come share your favorite science bits and be prepared to
try out some cool tricks. This class is listed as a Hands On class but will

LONDON PARTIAL SUSPENSION FROM THE FLOOR,
THROUGH THE BODY AND UP (BOSSBONDAGE)
Bondage, at its best, can be a very intimate and connected type of play.
Floor work and partial suspension even more so. This class is based on a
style of partial suspension where the top is on the floor with their bottom
on top of them, literally. This style can increase intimacy and connection,
as well as offer movement based play. There are opportunities for more
torturous rope and catharsis, if desired. This is a BossBondage class after
all.

TYING THE TK: PRACTICAL HANDS ON CLASS
(GIOTTO)
Step by step instruction to tie a solid and safe(r) takate kote. Often classes
at conventions are focused around learning concepts or unique and special

chance to learn and retain a widely used chest tie form in a way that most
anyone can follow.
What to Bring: Three (3) 30 ft or 8m ropes

kink community. Still, many kinky people struggle to reconcile their play
with their views on feminism and equality.
Well use this time to discuss sources of confusion and conflict which kinky

challenging about transitions. The best suspension scenes, however,
require the ability to flexibly increase and decrease intensity in response
to whats happening in the bottoms body and mind. This class focuses on
specific skills to facilitate that type of play. This class will not teach ANY
TIES. It is generally suitable for tops and bottoms who have already been
suspending for at least 1-2 years. Please see the website description for a
detailed list of requirements.

This class is not focused on simple, safe suspension ties. In order to attend,
we will expect you to own that aspect of your play already. This is focused
on taking the tie you can already execute well, and making it look better.
This class is heavily influenced by the amount of time the instructor has

pictures also results in more beautiful ties to the naked eye. We are focused
on the appearance and the aesthetic of rope. This class isnt focused on
comfort or speed.
What to Bring: Full rope suspension kit, desire to have your work closely
critiqued in front of your peers.

of rope that you can use when playing to create stable, restrictive, and/or
beautiful ties without following a specific pattern.

DV8 HOJO FUTOMOMO
(MARK DE VIATE, LANI DE VIATE)
The cross legged DV8 Hojo Futomomo has its roots in the hojo hishi and is
tied in the Nawashi Kanna style. This style of futomomo is tied using cuffs
instead of the traditional wraps down the leg (similar to the cuffs in the TK
portion of the hojo hishi). Hence this is a natural addition when completing
a full body tie. The construction is robust and very useful for face up, face
down or sideways suspension, as the structural integrity of the cross legged
tie enables many varied attachment points and also increases the models
stamina.
