COMPASSION AND

LOVE
PSALMS 86:15 But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious,
Longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.
LAMENTATION 3:22-23Through the LORDs mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.

They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
JOHN 11:33-35 Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came
with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled. 34 And He
said, Where have you laid him?
They said to Him, Lord, come and see.

Jesus wept.

MATTHEW 14:14 And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was
moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.
MARK 1:40-41Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and
saying to Him, If You are willing, You can make me clean.
Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him,
and said to him, I am willing; be cleansed.

MATTHEW 22:34-40 But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the
Sadducees, they gathered together. 35 Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a
question, testing Him, and saying,36 Teacher, which is the great commandment in
the law?
Jesus said to him, You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all
your soul, and with all your mind.[d] 38 This is the first and great
commandment. 39 And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as
yourself.

1JOHN 3:16-17 By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we
also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 17 But whoever has this worlds
goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does
the love of God abide in him?
1 JOHN 4:20 If someone says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for
he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can[c] he love God whom
he has not seen?

JOHN 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
