suggest
using
cotton,
canvas/duck
cloth
or
outdoor
fabric.
Test
any
disappearing
inks
or
chalks
on
fabric
before
making
any
marks
to
ensure
they
will
not
be
seen
later.
You
can
also
use
masking
tape
to
mark
lines
and
remove
it
after
sewing.
If
the
batting
is
getting
caught
in
the
feed
dogs,
back
the
batting
with
muslin.

Instructions:
2. Sew
around
the
four
sides
leaving
a
10
opening
at
the
center
of
one
of
the
shorter
sides.
Clip
corners.
3. Flip
bed
right
side
out
by
pulling
fabric
through
the
opening.
4. Press
points
out
and
lightly
press
the
edges.
5. Draw
lines
across
the
top
of
the
bed,
perpendicular
to
the
long
side,
every
5
for
the
small
bed,
every
6
for
the
medium
bed
and
every
7
for
the
large
bed.
You
should
have
6
columns
for
any
size
bed.
6. Starting
with
the
column
farthest
away
from
the
opening,
sew
along
that
line
and
reinforcing
at
the
ends,
leaving
a
6
opening
in
the
center
for
the
small
bed,
an
8
opening
in
the
center
for
the
medium
bed
and
a
10
opening
in
the
center
for
the
large
bed.
Fill
the
column
with
fiberfill,
making
sure
to
put
the
fiberfill
between
the
two
layers
of
batting.
NOTE:
You
can
fill
the
column
as
much
or
as
little
as
you
like.
However,
the
more
you
fill,
the
harder
it
will
be
to
sew
the
column
closed.
7. Sew
the
column
opening
closed,
reinforcing
at
each
end.
NOTE:
When
sewing
the
columns
closed,
use
either
a
walking
foot
or
a
zipper
foot.

until
each
column
is
stuffed
and
closed,
including
the
last
column.

Strap
wrong
side
up,
press
both
long
sides
towards
the
middle.
Fold
in
half
lengthwise
and
press.
Sew
a
scant
catching
both
folds.
Sew
a
scant
on
the
other
side
to
mirror
the
seam
in
Step
3.
9. Roll
up
the
bed
and
measure
the
circumference.
Cut
2
pieces
of
the
Strap
2
longer
than
the
circumference.
Use
a
zigzag
stitch
to
finish
the
ends
of
both
Straps.
10. Sew
Velcro
on
either
end
of
both
Straps,
making
sure
that
one
loop
piece
and
one
hook
piece
are
on
opposite
sides
of
each
Strap.

11. Use
the
rest
of
the
Strap
to
make
the
Handle.
NOTE:
You
can
make
the
Handle
long
like
a
shoulder
strap
or
short
like
a
hand
carry
strap.
Use
a
zigzag
stitch
to
finish
the
ends.
Sew
each
end
of
the
Handle
to
the
middle
of
each
Strap
using
a
box
stitch.
And,
were
done!
Throw
the
bed
on
the
ground
and
Fido
will
soon
be
dreaming
of
chasing
squirrels
and
yummy
treats.
