Personal statement
I am a hardworking and reliable individual who is currently studying for a
BA (Hons) degree in Marketing at Southampton Solent University.
Alongside my degree I am hoping to complete the Chartered Institute of
Marketing (CIM) Foundation Certificate in Marketing, Certificate in
Professional Marketing and Diploma in Professional Marketing.
After completing my A Levels in Biology, English and Textiles I gained two
years of retail experience working for the companies Hobbycraft and H&M.
I am still currently working part time at H&M, which I fit around my
degree.

Hobbies & Interests

Currently my main interest is creative writing and I hope to take it

further, possibly pursuing a career in Marketing after I complete my
degree. I have previously written for two school magazines and have
had three poems published in school anthologies. I have also always
had a passion for dance and studied classical ballet for ten years
(attaining grade 4), achieving a Bronze Arts award and performing in
several productions for the public. Other interests are hockey and
netball; I thoroughly enjoyed playing for several teams including the
Abingdon 2121 Air Cadets. Overall I love being able to show my
creativity whether its through writing, clothing choices or even solving
problems in a new way.
