Start CATIA V5 and stast anew file in che Wireframe and Surface Design workbench,
Draw the setches forthe muliecions surface, refer to Figures 10-48 through 1030.
Greate the mulisections surface, refer to Figures 10-51 and 10-52.
Dav the sketch to create the revolve surface refer to Figure 10-53
(Greate the reeled surface, refer 1 Figure 10-54
Drav the sdetch to create the sweep profil, refer to Figures 10-55 and 10-5.
Greate the swepe surface, refer to Figure 10-57.
Split the swept surface with the revolved surface,

1. Start CATIA V5 and choose Close fom the File men. ‘The star seren of CATTAS is
ddsplayed. Choose Start > Mechanical Desiga > Wireframe and Surface Desiga fom

Drawing the Sketch for the Base Surface

Creating the Base Surface

1. Choose the Multisections surface buon fom the Surtees tool, The

Creating the Revolved Surface

[Revolution Surface Definition dialog box. Figure 10-54 shows the model, fer cresting

Creating the Swept Surface
‘Next you need to create a surfice by sweeping a profile along a guide to create the
handle of the jug
1. Invoke the Sketeher by selecting the yz plane asthe sketching plane.
