CHOKER
Chokersarestrangeevilcreatureswithabonybodyandlongtentacle
likelimbs,withspinypadsforhandsandfeet.Thesespinypadsallow
thechokertogripalmostanysurfaceandarealsousedforgrabbing
prey.Thechokersbodiesresembleagaunthalflingwithgreyish
mottledflesh.Itsarmsandlegsareextremelylongrubberytentacles
thatendinspinypads.Chokersspendmostoftheirtimehiddennear
theirlairswaitingtoambushprey.Chokerslairsareoftenhiddenin
smallopeningshighinnaturalcavernsorstonechambers.
AmbushPredators.Chokersareviciousundergroundpredators
hidinginshadowsonwallsornearceilingsgrabbingwhateverprey
happensby.Theyoftenwaitinundergroundpassagewaysnear
interactions,archways,wellsorstairswheretheycanreachdownand
grabtheirpreyliftingitoffthegroundandchokingittopreventitfrom
cryingforhelp.Theyprefertoambushsinglecreaturesbutwillattack
groupsifhungryenough,waitingforthegrouptopassandgrabbing
thelastcreature.
SimpleGreed.Chokersaresimplemindedandgreedy.Ifachokeris
spottedbeforeitattacks,acharactermaybeabletobribeitwithfood
oritems.MostChokersareveryfamiliarwiththeareasurrounding
theirlairincludewhattypesofcreaturescanbefoundnearby.

Agoblinrangerisanunusualgoblinwhohaslearntheskillsandabilitiesofaranger,eitherfromanotherrangeror
ontheirown.Theyareoftenindependentcreatureshavingabandonedtheirgoblintribeorescapedanattackwhile
therestofthetribedidnot.Theycanalsoserveasscoutsforgoblintribesorothergroupsofgoblinoids.

SPRIGGAN
Spriggansareevilfeycreaturesresemblingdirty,ugly,unkeptgnomes.
Theyhavedullyellowskinandgreasyreddishbrowndisheveledhairwhich
isoftengrowntoridiculousproportions.Theirfilthymustaches,sideburns
andponytailsarealmostasoffensiveastheirodor,anauseatingsmellof
slightlyrancidflesh.
NomadicThievesandMurderers.Sprigganssurviveonthemisfortuneof
othersbyrobbingandmurderingtravelersandfarmers.Whendesperate
theymayevenentertownsandcitiesinsearchofvictims.Spriggansdonot
normallystayinoneplaceforlongastheytendtoattracttheattentionofthe
lawandaredrivenoff,buttheysometimessettleindismalburrowsor
forgottenruinsnearroadswheretravelersarefrequent.
CowardlyBullies.Sprigganoperateingroupsseekingtointimidate,
confuseandoverwhelmtheirvictims.Inthewildernesstheysurround
travelersandusetheirenlargetointimidatethemintogivingupanythingof

fastmovingwhicharehatefulandcruel.Quicklingsenjoycausing
confusionandchaosamongintelligentcreaturesoftenstealingor
murderingthemforpleasure.Quicklingsdwellindarkwoodlandsand
wildareaswhicharetaintedwithevil.Theywilloccasionallywork
