1.) Writing web pages is not like writing printed documents because people read Web pages in a different way.

marks the end of the section. The second occurrence uses the same tag name as the first, but with a forwardslash at the start of the tag name.

the page.

9.) Some of the things that you should do to ensure that your site is accessible include: Provide alternative
ALT text for every picture or image that you use.
Dont create information which cant be understood by those who cant see colors properly.
Ensure that there is sufficient contrast between text and background colors.
Avoid scrolling text and other dynamic effects. They are hard to read.
Avoid any technique which may produce flickering effects on-screen. Use the clearest and simplest
language for site content.
Keep paragraphs short, and include some white space between them.
Do not use frames. Screen readers dont like them.
Dark text on a light background works better that light text on a dark background.
Use a line spacing of around 1.5 to ensure that the text on a page doesnt look too heavy.
10.) Cascading Style Sheets is a separate file that complements one, some, or all of the HTML pages on your
site.
