South America. Each presentation must be no more than 10 minutes long. You will need to submit the tic tac
toe :.menu and a written report (minimum of 1 paragraph for each bullet; 1 paragraph = 6 sentences) with the
following information:
History (Research and give an overview about the countrys history. Cite significant people as necessary.)
Geography (Discuss what can be found in the countrys capital, describe the climate, and cite famous
landmarks and give details about what these are known for.)
Culture and Traditions (Research and discuss the countrys type of music, clothing, food, religion,
interesting laws and facts.)
Government (Describe and discuss the type of government the country runs under and cite the current
leader of the country and his/her role.)
Bibliography (Minimum of 3 reliable sources.)
*All written reports will be submitted on the day you present.
You will have 4 weeks to work on this project; from January 25 to February 18. Presentation dates are from
February 22 to March 3. There will be three people presenting each day.

Draw It
Create a comic strip that shares
information about a current event
in your chosen country and
describe in within the comic strip
how it has an impact on the rest of
the world.

People
Choose a significant person from
your country. Assume this persons
character; you are to perform a
puppet show that shows who this
person is, what they did and what
their significance is in the country.
Presentation must be no more than
3 minutes.
The Natural Resources
Research your chosen countrys
natural resources, including those
that have diminished over time.
Cite how these were used by the
people in your chosen country.
Create illustrations of 5 of these
and pretend you are an artist
making a debut for your art work.

The Climate
There are various reasons why
people choose to move to different
places. Climate can play a role in
those decisions. Write a play/
dialogue about a family that has
decided to move from Nevada to
your chosen country based on
climate. Be creative and have fun
with the familys decision!

The Landforms
Create 3D models for three
different landforms that are unique
to your chosen country. You may
use any material available to you.

Worship
Make a rap/ rhyme for three of the
major religions in your chosen
country. Describe in detail about
each religions beliefs and practices.

Culture and Tradition

Design a Venn diagram that
compares and contrasts your
chosen countrys society with the
United States. Discuss types of
music, clothing, food, language,
traditions practiced and interesting
laws. Cite 5 comparisons for each.
You may add more as you go along
your research.
History
Imagine you are a historian; you are
to tell an overview about a part of
your chosen countrys history.
Identify significant people and show
a timeline of when this event
occurred. Create a video that is no
more than 3 minutes long
(introduction/ credit slide should be
limited to 30 seconds combined).
