Did Jesus Descend into Hell?

The OT described all afterlife as SHEOL
Gen 37:35, 1 Sam 28:13-14, Ps 31:17
Sheol has two parts, the Evil side is called HADES
Luke 16:23
The Second part is called Abrahams bosom
Luke 16:26
They are separated by a chasm not able to be crossed but
within shouting distance.
Some scholars believe that Jesus descended into SHEOL
but not the hades side. Because he conquered death, he
then took those people who were righteous but had
already died and took them up to heaven to be nearer to
God.
