Curriculum and Programs Manager: American Conservatory Theater (June 2015-present)
Train and support teaching artists working with underserved youth in curriculum design and social justice
pedagogy.
Develop and co-lead Citizen Artist curriculum and training for MFA students to learn to apply their theater
skills to community and youth development.
Teach theater for social change to underserved high school students and co-direct productions based in

Curriculum Development and Coach: Aim High, San Francisco, CA (Summer 2015)
Developed curriculum for underserved middle school students on the Black Lives Matter movement, which
focused on stereotypes and consequences, micro and macro aggressions, ally-ship and solidarity.
Coached high school students teaching at Aim High in developing their professional and personal growth.

Taught a course on identity, oppression/privilege, safe sex, drugs and alcohol, and high school/college

Taught dance, theater, and yoga for middle school students at Aim High and put on two performances per

Launched the schools first student affinity groups program, for both elementary and middle school

Teaching Assistant for Asian American Studies: San Francisco State University (Fall 2014)
Assisted college course on Asian American community arts that incorporated Asian American studies with
social justice theory and art as activism.
Supported students in creating community-based art, culminating in a multidisciplinary art showcase.
Diversity Graduate Student Orientation Facilitator: San Francisco State University (2013 to 2014)
Co-designed and co-facilitated the first Common Ground new graduate student orientation for the ELSIT
graduate program which aimed to prepare students by building community and common language around
equity and social justice. Facilitated activities and workshops within this orientation around identity,
privilege, and oppression.
Continue to lead follow up meetings to give voice to the students in the ELSIT graduate program, and will
plan and lead the next Common Ground orientation in Fall 2014.
Board Member of POCIS: People of Color in Independent Schools (June 2011-2014)
Served as Secretary to the POCIS Board in organizing conferences, workshops, and events that promote
racial justice and support children and adults of color in independent schools in Northern California.
Additionally served to support event promotion and community networking as editor of the online
newsletter Visible Voices and manager of POCIS social media.
Intern and Volunteer Coordinator at the Womens Building in San Francisco (2006-2008)
Worked in the Community Resource Room providing referrals for legal advice, job opportunities, housing,
tax services, domestic violence support, and childcare services.
Coordinated volunteers for their annual International Womens Day performance and Celebration of
Craftswomen Fair.

Directed, co-wrote, performed in, and founded the first Body Politics, a show written by and about women
of color about body image. Body Politics has since grown into a full college course on writing,
performing, and empowerment for women of color on campus.
