Submissions
Within the first week of the start of the design project, you should submit the followings:
1. A detailed programme of works for all the different phases. Duration provided in this
paper are only indicative but you can either align your deliverables with same or you can
alter it. Once the POW is submitted then any changes/deviation to same shall be
explained in writing to the supervisor.
2. For each phase a different team member is required to plan, organize and approved the
submissions. Submission for each phase will have to bear the signature of the Team
member. Names of each Phase team member should be provided.
3. An engineering diary documenting all meetings, incidences and issues should be kept
with the team leader and be provided to the supervisor during each meeting.
At the end of each Phase a one-page report accompanied with required drawings should be
submitted. Only on approval or go-ahead of supervisor that you should move to the next phase.
Submission of Final Report: One Week after End of Semester 1 in Level 4. The final report
should be a concise report whereby the undertakings of each and every phase is described,
with all required figures, tables, diagrams, justifications and drawings.
Meeting
Supervisor will be meeting group members in his office every Thursdays between 2:30 to
4:00pm. Confirm your appointment by e-mail.
Marks
Phase sub-reports carry no marks but will be assessed as either Satisfactory or Not.

General Remarks
Confidentiality within each team is essential and in the likelihood of having two similar projects
then both will be awarded ZERO.
ZERO will be given to projects who have been copied from previous years.
