magazine. A commitment to visual genius, investment
in storytelling that puts women at the center of the
culture, and a selective, optimistic editorial eye.
Vogue is a highly demanded fashion magazine. The
magazine is posted monthly in 23 different nations and
regions. Vogue was founded in 1892, the first magazine
was published on 17th of December of that year with the
cover price of 10 cent. However Vogues first magazine
was published only in America.Vogue started going
overseas in 1910. First reaching London in 1916.
Vogue then launched Teen Vogue for their younger
viewers, so teenage girls. The first magazine was
published in 2000. In 2oo5 Vogue also published Vogue
Men so Vogue had a bigger target audience.

- MEDIA PLATFORMS
Vogue is available to read in multiple platforms. These conclude of
print which are their magazines which are available across the
world, as you dont just have Vogue London, you have Vogue Paris too
and many more. 67% read vogue magazines
Vogue is now available online for people to view as it works out to be
less costly, as the magazine itself is expensive to buy. It has been
proven that most Vogue readers are now starting to read the
magazine online as records tell us 62% of users access
www.vogue.co.uk at least once a month.
Vogue have recently launched an app which is now on the App store.
This was launched in February 2015 and it is showing progress on
current Vogue users downloading the app to view the magazine
easier on mobile phones and tablets rather than online on a
computer.
Having a variety of media platforms to view Vogue allow them to meet
different audiences. This is due to different ages preferring to view
Vogue differently. As the younger target audience are more likely to
read Vogue online then the older target audience who would prefer to
be original and still read the magazine as they may have less
knowledge how to use the other media platforms such as tablets,
phones and computers.

are the most popular with the amount of

Having social media meets target audience as


their target audience consists of young people
who use these popular social websites and
apps such as Instagram and Facebook. Having
social media to access Vogue updates allows
Vogue to connect to their target audience on
all media platforms.
However they have less of an audience on their
social media pages because viewers are more
likely to just go on the Vogue website or read
the magazine than checking for updates on
Facebook and Twitter.

Using my own research I found
out that Vogue Magazine main
target audience are mainly
women from age 20-25 however
it is shown that some men do
however view vogue
But using the research I
found out that Vogues
main target audience
are women aged 20-40.
Using the statics I found
out from my research
women aged 20-25 are
more likely to view
Vogue online or by App
while Women aged 25-40
are more likely to buy
the magazine.

Vogue target any ethnicity but is


proven more white people by the
magazine.
Vogue has been known to aim their
magazine to their target audience of a
higher class such as group B and C1 as
the magazine is costly. They also tend
to advertise their magazine to
fashionable, confident and well paid
people that are also healthy and care
about their self image by keeping up
with the latest trends from popular
designers like Gucci.

MAGAZINE

Vogue have a range of different magazines. These range from Vogue London to
Vogue Mexico. Vogue have done this to expand their target audience to different
countries so they earn more profit as they are selling magazine world wide. Vogue
have also brought out Vogue Men to also interest the male population to read and
look at the latest trend this also helps expand their target audience for both male
and female instead of having one magazine aimed mainly for women.

- THE
MAGAZINE
Vogue cover multiple sections in their
magazine. They have a contents page this will
let the reader know what is in this article. This
includes their cover stars which is the model
on the front cover of the magazine as well as a
photoshoot and an interview with them on
something which has happened recently to
them.
Vogue also cover other celebrity news. The
main thing Vogue consists of is fashion as its a
fashion magazine. Inside is all the latest
fashion trends that are out with well known
celebrities dressing in that style or trend to
promote it. Vogue also have articles about new
make up techniques as well as what brand is
best to buy to give you a certain look. As well as
talking about big fashion events such as
Fashion Week or Victoria Secret Catwalk
Vogue also has a section for readers to sign up
for news letters and updates. This is so Vogue
can get a bigger audience.
