This site has provided an overview of the choices that was led by the attack on Pearl Harbor.
Before the war, the U.S started to ship exchanged/provided military supplies and other assistance
to the Allied powers. A program started after the attack on Pearl Harbor. The program was called
The Lend-Lease program. This allowed the U.K to get 50 obsolete from the U.S. in exchange for
a part of the Caribbean for the use of military navy and air force forts for 99 years.

This site told me of the strategic bombing which is also distinct from both close air support of
ground forces and tactical air power. It helps me understand what tactics were used and the right
weapons used to destroy millions of people.

This site showed me that how strong the atomic bomb was. On August 6, 1945, during World
War II, an American B-29 bomber dropped the worlds first atomic bomb over the Japanese city
of Hiroshima. Then they soon bombed the city of Nagasaki. It taught me if someone doesnt die
of the bomb itself, they should die off the radiation of the atomic bomb. The explosion wiped out
90 percent of the city and immediately killed 80,000 people in the city of Hiroshima. The bomb
in Nagasaki killed about 40,000 people.

The Germans wanted to destroy the royal Air Force bases. But, they began to bomb the cities.
This becomes a chance for the Royal Air Force to repair its damaged aircrafts. The Germans did
not have radar technology. In October 1940, operation Sea Lion was postponed as the Germans
were unable to achieve air supremacy. This gave Britain the time to rebuild its army.

This book helped me understand the attacks of Pearl Harbor. Also how the Japan air force
attacked Pearl Harbor. How long the attack was also. The pictures show the many damage and
attacks that were done from the Japan Air force. Ships and forts were destroyed. And many were
killed and injured

This site helps me to see all the facts about the Second World War . From the different

plagues bombed to how the Americans and Germans fought together to defend a Austrian castle.
It also said how many Jews were killed in the holocaust. It told me that after the attack on Pearl
Harbor, Canada declared war on Japan before the USA did.

This site helped me understand the strategic and tactical air warfare that was used during the war.
The tactical warfare is the use of airplanes to attack the enemys troops on the battle field. The
most primary weapon of tactical strikes was the fighter-bomber. It was crazy fast, heavily armed
and armored plane. It was sturdy enough to withstand steep dives, rapid maneuvers and some
heavy machine guns, and automatic canons.

This site gives a brief summary of the deadliest war. (The Second World War) The war brought
major leaps into technology. The war lasted for about 6 years. And the causalities were about 60
million dead from the Allies and Axis 12 million. The results of the war were the USA and
Russia ended up being global superpowers.

This power point tells me the beginging of the Second World War. It shows pictures of the
weapons and air craft used. It also says when the war started, ended, and important battles. It
gives different reasons and perspectives of why may the Second World War have started. This
helps me understand the war in many perspectives also.
