My Place Storyboard Assignment

Everyone has a story about a place that is important to them. Your job
is to create a storyboard using Storybird to share your place. Your
place can be a physical place or an emotional place. Maybe your place
is when you are listening to music, creating music, playing a sport or
creating a piece of artwork. You may choose to draw your own
illustrations or use the ones on Storybird. Below you will find the
requirements for the assignments, a planning guide and rubric. Good
luck and have fun!
Requirements:
Title page with a title and your name
Setting, feelings, emotions, memories, thoughts, etc.
10 frames
each frame needs 3-5 sentences
each frame needs an illustration
Storyboard should be no longer than 3 minutes
You need to record your voice over the story

Planning guide:
Answer the following questions to help you get started.
1. What is the earliest memory of your place?

2. What are your feelings when you are there?

3. What difference does your place make in your life?

4. What do you see in your place that no one else sees?

5. Why is your place important to you?
