Curricular

Curricular Points:
1 point (per semester) for AP classes*
1 point for each STEM elective beyond the five (5)
required STEM electives*
1 point for completing a career cluster*
1 point for a full year in a performance ensemble (1
additional point for 4 consecutive years)

Extra-curricular Points:
1 point for lettering in a varsity sport (1 additional point
for 4 consecutive years)*
1 point for participation in a sanctioned club or activity
outside of the regular school day*
Participation in a club or activity should require a
substantial commitment outside of school, and must be
presented for approval by the STEM Coordinator on the
required form. A faculty or staff member (club advisor,
mentor, etc.) must validate the form. The STEM student
must include a narrative explaining how the activity has
helped them to grow and understand 21st Century skills
and dispositions:
