- White Mineral Oil is included on the TSCA Inventory.
- The CAS number for all products listed above is 8042-47-5.
- See Safety Data sheet for additional health, safety and disposal information.
- All Drakeols, Draketex 50 and Peneteck meet the following FDA regulations: 21 CFR 172.878 covering direct use in food, 178.3620 (a) for indirect use in food, 573.680 for use in animal
feed and H1 food processing lubricant standards. Calumet Penreco LLC technical mineral oils meet 21 CFR 178.3620 (b) for indirect use in food and 573.680 for animal feed.
Notes
- All Drakeols, Draketex 50 and Peneteck are inhibited with less than 20 ppm dl-alpha tocopherol (vitamin E).
- Colors for all Drakeols, Draketex 50 and Peneteck are +30 Saybolt. Colors of all technical oils are at least +20 Saybolt.
- Some of the most common applications for Calumet Penreco white mineral oils are shown on reverse.
- Test methods used are current USP/ASTM or validated Calumet Penreco LLC equivalents.
