For a moment he wondered why Kyuhyun had invited him to come along to the

pub. It was obvious that the older male had only eyes for Changmin, chatting
only with him, smiling only at him and leaving Minho in silence like the third
wheel he knew he was. Aah, really, was he just here to make it seem like a
casual get-together? Minho wondered if he should just leave, there was no point
in sitting at the table looking as bored as he felt.
Luckily there was alcohol, beer kept him occupied as he eyed both men. There
was a rosy colour on Kyuhyun's cheeks that couldn't be from the cold wind,
because they have been inside for about an hour now. It was Changmin's doing,
most likely, because whenever Changmin smiled and fumbled with his glass
Kyuhyun's eyes darted to his lips. It didn't take a genius though Minho is
exceptionally smart, mhm to understand what the Super Junior vocalist was
thinking about as his stare lingered and his tongue tried to moisten his chapped
lips.
Chapped lips, soon he would reach for his chapstick and finally realize it slipped
from his pocket when he came back carrying three more glasses of beer. The
chapstick Minho had secretly stolen instead of handing it over. Minho raised his
glass and took a sip, keeping silent as if an invisible bystander. It felt like he sat
at home in front of the television watching the development of an homoerotic
relationship that just began trespassing the friendly zone and entering a zone
Minho was not a part of.
He wasn't part of this conversation or the blooming bond that he witnessed. Why
was he still here? Was he really that interested to see if Kyuhyun would confess
first or if Changmin was truly that brave enough to give Kyuhyun a peck before
they depart later tonight?

"Mhm.." Minho grinned slightly, because yes, he was that interested and curious
and even felt a little giggly about it.
Sometimes he felt like a little boy watching the other two, his heart pounding as
eagerly as Kyuhyun and Changmin's he was sure of that, but of course because
of different reasons. He wasn't part of this puppy-love relationship, but was
anticipating the day either of them would come up to him with a straight face,
slightly nervous eyes darting everywhere, and tell him Kyuhyun and Changmin
were together. And then, as costumed, Minho would gasp and blink and be
exaggeratedly surprised.
He chewed on his lower lip, trying to suppress the twitching of his lips as
Changmin and Kyuhyun laughed about some innuendo, the latter falling silent
instantly when Changmin's hand ruffled his locks. Even if Kyuhyun pushed the
hand away with a grin, there was still that unmistakably shy blush painted on his
cheeks. This was another reason Minho liked to stick around; he only got to see
Kyuhyun all flustered when he was around Changmin.
If only the pair knew how obvious they behaved, Kyuhyun's hand rubbing his
chapped lips and Changmin offering him his own chapstick as both realized
Kyuhyun's had 'mysteriously' disappeared. If Minho hadn't hidden the lip balm
he would have spluttered in his beer, cackling over the fact Kyuhyun appeared
to have lost the chapstick on purpose so they could share an indirect kiss.
Kyuhyun applied the lip balm slowly, making sure to cover every small part of
his lips. His eyes were casted down to stare at the table and made him unaware
of Changmin's staring eyes. Such a fond look the other was giving him, if only

he'd look u-..

Ah, finally. A look of realization accompanied by a shy smile, cheeks glowing
brightly in the dim lit pub.
Minho leaned back slowly, fingers curling around his glass with a radiant smile on
his face. He turned carefully and slipped from his chair, footing as soft as possible
to not break the trance his companions were in. When he reached the bar his
glass was empty, hand wiping his mouth with a satisfied sound. The bartender
smiled even if he interpreted Minho's reaction completely wrong. The beer was
good of course, but it didn't please him more than seeing his two best friends
shuffling their feet underneath the table, most likely bumping shoes and rubbing
legs accidentally more than once.
One last look over his shoulder and Minho left the pub to inhale the cold, but
fresh air. He had left his coat inside, draped over his chair as always, but he
couldn't go back and fetch it. This was not the time to disturb his friends, they
needed this moment, together.
When his teeth began to chatter and rubbing his hands to not lose the feeling in
his fingers no longer worked Minho began to pace. He checked his watch several
times, let out a shaky breath as his body shivered and leaned over to peek inside
the window. A frown settled on his face when he found his companions and his
own coat gone.
A finger tapped him on the shoulder, a familiar amused though evil snicker
reaching his ears when his vision was blocked by something big. Minho tugged
the fabric from his head, smoothened his hair and put his coat on, sending a

knowing look at Kyuhyun and Changmin.

"You didn't have to leave" Changmin commented when Minho snuggled his face
in the collar of his coat.
"Felt like getting some fresh air" Minho replied casually and added a shrug.
He had pocketed his hands and revealed one, fist slowly opening. He revealed
Kyuhyun's chapstick which the owner snatched from the palm of his hand with
an embarrassed look. A scowl appeared on Kyuhyun's face as he was obviously
displeased with Minho's meddling, but Changmin chuckled and nudged the
other his eyes sending a silent message that Minho couldn't decipher. Apparently
Kyuhyun could however, because his face softened, a small puff of warm air
appearing in front of his glossy lips as he sighed.
"Let's meet up again sometime soon. Remember, Minho-ah, your turn to arrange
a place" Changmin looked thoroughly pleased while Minho nodded and
Kyuhyun looked away with pursed lips.

Kyuhyun shouldn't be grumbling as he and Changmin shuffled in front of the
restaurant a month later. The smaller one fervently typed on his phone, sending
yet another accusing text message to the one whose arrival they were awaiting.
"Can't believe he stood us up" Kyuhyun muttered softly, eyes staring at his phone
to avoid Changmin's look.

"When are we going to stop pretending, Kyuhyun-ah?" Changmin asked

carefully, hands gripping the insides of his pockets nervously. He knew very well
why Minho wasn't present yet.
Kyuhyun glanced up shortly, body tensing at the intense though pleading look
from the other. The buzzing of his phone served as an excuse to look away and
not reply, but the words in the message made him cringe and whine. Changmin
looked concerned and took out his own phone when a small tune indicated he
had received a message as well.
"He probably won't listen to me, so you do it: kiss him already" Changmin read
out loud and looked up with anticipating eyes when Kyuhyun suddenly grabbed
his hand and dragged him inside, snatching the phone from its owner and
pocketing it in the coat he left at the wardrobe of the restaurant.
Though Changmin appeared amused, Kyuhyun could only blush and stammer,
nervously holding on to the other's hand even when they reached a table for two
as reserved by Choi Minho. The youngster had arranged it all, a date for two.
"That little.." Kyuhyun mumbled darkly, looking up when there was a tug on his
hand.
Changmin smiled gently and gave his hand a squeeze. He motioned for Kyuhyun
to sit and did the same, refusing to let go of Kyuhyun's hand as the other tried to
pry his hand away. Changmin inhaled deeply, trying to calm the rapid beating
of his heart. His hand felt sweaty, but so was Kyuhyun's. They knew what was
going on yet neither felt brave enough to voice it. Though nervous he knew this
was the moment, a rare opportunity, so he slowly intertwined his fingers with

Kyuhyun and smiled.

"Kyuhyun.. let's stop pretending."
