Amenhotep IV was a pharaoh of Egypt that

changed everything. He changed his name to
Akhenaten, which means Living Spirit of Aten,
he moved the capital city to a place which is
now known as Amarna, and he replaced all

Aten. By doing this, it changed their religion

end of each ray

Beliefs
The Ancient Egyptian people believe Ra, the
sun god, would travel across the sky, fighting
off monsters during the day and when the
sunset came, he would grab all the people who
died that day to be judged in the afterlife. Then,
the next day, it would start all over again.
Ancient Egyptians believe that Khnum,
originally a water god that created silt for
farming, created everything including people
and other gods on a pottery wheel.
