Sassy Summer Halter

By Rachel Tyer

Size: 2 yr (4, 6, 8, 10)

20 (22, 24, 26, 28) inches – chest circumference

Yarn: Nashua Handknits Cilantro - 136 yards – aran weight

1 ball each
#12 Lime Sorbet, #5 Rose, #8 Mango, #10 Aqua

Needles: #9 24 inch circular, #9 DPNs

Notions: Stitch holder or waste yarn, 2 stitch markers, tapestry needle

Gauge: 16 st x 24 rows = 4 inches

Notes: Cilantro is a cotton/poly yarn that is very stretchy. The pattern is written to be
fitted, thus the yarn is perfect for this project. If using another yarn, you
may want to add extra stitches (in a multiple of 4) when casting on to
allow for “room to grow”, and adjust pattern accordingly.

Also, the length of the halter is generous so that your little one can wear it for
more than one season.

Pattern:

With circ needles, CO 44 (48, 52, 56, 60) sts, PM, CO 44 (48, 52, 56, 60) st, PM to
