Hansel and Gretel Play Script

N: Hansel and Gretel lived near a dark forest with their Father and their Stepmother
F : Good morning children. Did you sleep well?
H: Yes I slept very well.
G: Me too Father!
F : Excellent ! what are you going to do today?
H: we are going to get some sticks in the woods.
F: But you do that everyday.
G: We know but stepmother told us she needed firewood everyday to keep our cottage warm.
F: Well ,be careful you may get lost if you go too deeply into the woods.
H: Dont worry father.
Scene 2
N: One day they got lost deep among the trees.
G: Hansel where are we? Its getting late.
H: I dont know Gretel
G: Im very hungry
H: Me too
G: Father will come and find us
N: Then, Hansel and Gretel saw a pretty cottage
H: Lets go and ask for some foods
G: That is a great idea Hansel
N: As Hansel and Gretel get closer to the house they realize it was a special house
H: look its made of sweets
G: and gingerbread
H: lets try some
G; Its delicious
N: Hansel and Gretel nibbled away like hungry mice. Suddenly an old woman opened the door

W: You are eating my house. are you hungry?

H,G: we didnt mean to were sorry
G: but we were so hungry
W: Come inside dear children
N: Hansel and Gretel stepped into the house then the old woman locked the door!
W: how dare you eat my cottage now I will eat you boy, and you lazy girl can get to work
G: no we didnt mean to were sorry
N: she was a wicked witch
