Stage 2----Assessment Evidence


Unit (Summative) Assessment:
Students will demonstrate their understanding through three different performance tasks.
1) Speaking Assessment- Students are given a set of questions at the beginning of the unit that they will need to prepare
answers to. Students will be paired with another student and be asked to ask and answer these questions orally to each
other.
2) Writing Assessment- Students will be writing emails to a pen pal in Uruguay or Paraguay discussing the similarities and

differences in home-life between the United States and their country.


3) Multiple Choice Comprehensive Exam- Students will take a multiple choice exam that will incorporate vocabulary,
grammar, a short reading comprehension section, and a listening section.
