Brocade HBAs 415, 425, 815, 825, 1010, 1020 running Windows Driver v2.0.0.x
CORRECTED IN RELEASE:
BULLETIN OVERVIEW
The Brocade SupportSave command is used commonly for data collection (device and network
information) to assist in identifying and troubleshooting issues. The SupportSave dump captured via
HCM does not package complete support information (driver support save component).
PROBLEM STATEMENT
The SupportSave dump captured via HCM does not package complete support information (driver
support save component). This will result in incomplete SupportSave information being packaged
while gathering SupportSave for records or offline analysis of a problem. This is due to a defect in
bfa_supportsave.bat.
RISK ASSESSMENT
Due to the incomplete SupportSave information being packaged, there might be limited information
for records or offline analysis.

location below:
BROCADE_DRIVER_LOCATION\util\hbaagent\bfa_ss_out\ bfa_ss_out_<timestamp>\*.*
where standard BROCADE_DRIVER_LOCATION
is\ProgramFiles\Brocade\DriverPackage\bfa
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Brocade will release Windows Driver v2.1 in Fall 2009 that will fix the defect. An upgrade to
Windows Driver v2.1 or higher version will fix the defect.
