Teaching Approaches
Whole class to sit on the floor, teacher to use the 5L (Legs,
Lap, Lips, Look and Listen) strategy to obtain maximum
student attention.
Talk through created PowerPoint to present the course of the
lesson. Slides 1 & 2 (Videos are all linked up to power point)

Teaching Approaches
Teacher to hand out a page of pad paper to each student,
once received each student goes back to their table to
complete the task.

Students to come back to the floor for class discussion,


teacher to use the 5L (Legs, Lap, Lips, Look and Listen)
strategy to obtain maximum student attention.
Students to discuss their own thoughts about different days /
events their own family celebrates. Start to include questions
linking what their family does to what families do in other
parts of the world. Students are encouraged to lead the class
discussion under the guidance of the teacher.
Using the interactive white board, Information and ideas
provided by the students is to be written up
