RHETORICAL APPEALS

Rhetoric is the art of persuasion.


The goal of persuasion is to change others point
of view or to move others to take action.
Speakers/writers will appeal to:

Ethos (authority, ethics)


Logos (statistics, facts, proof)
Pathos (emotions or values)
