- Chose one of the many countries in this world where French is spoken and prepare your own
virtual trip.
You have $5000 to spend two weeks in that country.
This money must include:
- Your flight from your nearest airport to your chosen country, and back.
- Transportation while in the new country (bus tickets, train passes, other flights, renting
bikes, etc.)
- All food expenses
- All admission fees, tickets, and events you attend.
- Your sleeping establishments. (hotels and youth hostels are recommended)

You must organize, plan and keep an accurate account record for all money spent, and a
daily journal entry for each of your fourteen days.

Visit the capital city and at least three other cities in your chosen country, detailing how
you travelled to and from those places and how much it cost to travel.
Stay in a reputable sleeping establishment. You may not stay with "friends" or sleep in
bus/train stations or airports to save money. Please record the name, dates, and cost of
your stay.
Eat food "authentic" to that country at least once a day. That means you cannot have a
Mcdonald's diet. Please record what you ate each day in your journal entry. Be sure to
record the cost of each meal and snack. You may not skip meals to save money
(remember budgeting wisely is part of this project.)
You must visit at least 6 of the following: museums, sporting event (soccer match), cultural event (concert, theatre), historical sites (old churches, castles, monuments,) and detail the cost for each.
Include pictures that will serve as 'evidence'. Pictures of food, places, airplanes, city sites,
local people, etc are all welcome.
Each journal entry must include where you went, what you saw and experienced and what
you ate.

What to submit:
You may chose to put all of this information in a booklet, duo-tang, computer file (ie Powerpoint or accessible website). You should have one page detailing all of your expenses, 14 journal entries and pictures.
