Strategic Plan Comment Review

Last August the school board approved a draft Strategic Plan. The approval was based on
providing the opportunity for district families, students, staff and the community to offer
comments to the draft mission, core values, vision and strategic directions. The comment
opportunity was open during the month of Septembers.
The feedback was gained via three questions for each area. The questions were:
What are the strengths?
What are your concerns?
What ideas do you have to improve?
We thank all that took the opportunity to provide feedback. The opportunity for comment
was positive and, as a whole, affirmed the direction the district is taking with the
Strategic Plan. A review of comments was conducted with a group of teachers involved
in the strategic planning process. The review resulted in the adjustment considerations
that follow based on themes or direct comments provided by survey participants.
