Introduction
Now a days, you never know when your life is gonna end. Today could be your last
day. With all these problems with guns today in the country, you could walk outside
and get shot and that's it. Dont wait for the police. Dont wait for Congress. Dont
wait for the state legislature. And don't wait for the president. If you expect things to
change, if you want things to change, you have to make it happen. Throughout this
article expect to see Facts on gun violence, Obama's take on guns, Soulutions, My
take on guns, and how much of a major problem guns are.

Factual

In the last decade 280,024 Americans have been killed by guns. In 2014, a 19 year old was shot twice
in the head just several months after urging his city council to shut down the crime in the same
apartment complex he was living in. September 4, 2015, a 5 year old girl, shot. September 15, a 3
year old was shot. September 19, a 10 year old also shot dead. October 1, a 5 month old baby girl was
shot in the same city as all those other children. If guns don't kill people Why do we give people
guns when they go to war? Why not just send the people?(Ozzy Osbourne). It's time to STOP GUN
VIOLENCE!

Obamas Involvement
In his address on his action on gun control on January 5, 2016, President Obama stated

right to life and liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Those rights were stripped from college kids weisberg
in Santa Barbara, from high schoolers a Columbine, from first-graders in Newtown... First-graders. From
every family who never imagined that their loved one would be taken from our lives by a bullet from a gun...
Every time I think about those kids it gets me mad... And by the way it happens on the streets of Chicago
every day.

The effects of minimal gun laws is significant. In conclusion innocent Americans are
dying. These outcomes show that it is important that the President and this country
establish a more secure way of distributing these firearms. If these laws were
already in effect at this point in time before all these people have died, the death
rate by firearm would be way less than 80% hopefully, comparing to Canada,
Germany, and England.

Authors Story
Children are dying, adults are dying, all of them so innocent and helpless. Children of
the ages of 3, 5, 10 and 14 all shot dead. Even worse it happened in the same city. No
one feels safe anymore, people don't feel safe leaving their homes. So they think by
buying themselves a gun that ensures their safety, and somehow that is always
going to end up in the hands of a mentally unstable, angry, depressed, or a terrorist.
If you take guns away from legal gun owners, then the only people who would have
guns are the bad guys.(Bruce Willis). The problem isn't the guns, it's how all these
people are ending up with them. The president has spoken out, baseball players,
basketball players, football players, celebrities, and even other country leaders have
spoken out about our problems with guns. You can talk all you want about this

terrible terrible problem but it isn't going to stop it. Having more gun laws, trigger
locks and background checks would cause less mass shootings in the U.S. Finally,
some say just to take them away completely, and with that you take away their
Second Amendment:

Gun Violence is a terrible problem that affects America almost everyday. As a result,
380 people died of mass shootings in 2015 alone. And we can't just keep letting
people die from this. A 5 year old, a 10 year old, a 3 year old, a 14 year old. The year
before, Newtown, Connecticut, 20 children and 6 adults. 20 innocent children died
because a mentally ill teenager got a gun in his hands.

Conclusion
Guns are a serious problem as you know more now. Nobody should have a gun who
has a criminal background or who's involved in domestic abuse situations . (D) Sen.
Bernie Sanders. Changing the gun laws would secure the safety of our country and
even our entire world. From now on, we should focus on a President who is going to
do us good when it comes to gun control and gun violence. Im supporting Bernie
Sanders because I agree with his take on guns. He isn't planning on taking guns
away.
